Service Description
Safeguarding Adults is a key part of Adult Social Care and a requirement for all to know and understand, this training will cover all aspects of Safeguarding Adults including how to manage services in respect to safeguarding, how to report safeguarding concerns, including Local Authority and CQC. Additionally we will discuss the investigation process and how it should be conducted to achieve the correct outcome of a safeguarding concern. This course covers a range of subjects including:- • Identify a Vulnerable Adult • Abuse • Harm • Neglect • Forms of abuse • Types of Abuse • How to identify Abuse • Impact of safeguarding • Handling disclosures • Reporting safeguarding concerns • Duty of Candor • Reporting Safeguarding Concerns • Learning from Events • Reporting to CQC • Managing the Safeguarding Process • Whistleblowing Time: 3.5 Hours Please select a date that you would prefer to have (this can be changed after) All bookings are subject to confirmation.
