I have seen first hand what good care looks like and what not so good care looks like. I know how it feels to be understaffed and under resourced, and I know how it feels to have a great team beside you delivering amazing results for people.
I have over 25 years of personal experience in the care sector, with 15 of those in a professional capacity. I have been, and still am, an unpaid carer for a family member, and I strive to champion and advocate for quality professional care.
I started out as a humble support worker supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals. I quickly took on qualifications and moved into more senior roles such as Home Manager, Training Manager, Recruitment Manager, and Registered Manager.
I have been at the forefront of delivering training for over 16 years, on subjects such as First Aid, Leadership Skills and Military Skills.
