3 Day First Aid at Work

This 3 Day First Aid at Work course provides  in depth knowledge on first aid situations that may take place at the workplace, in this we look at acute and chronic illnesses and injuries and how to provide treatment to those people suffering from these. Typically this course will enable a person to be a “Appointed Person” in the workplace to support with most first aid situations.

This course covers a range of subjects including:-

• Responsibilities of a First Aider

• First Aid Kits

• CPR

• Use of AED (Defib / Defibrillator)

• Recovery Position

• Choking

• Wounds and Bleeding

• Burns

• Shock

• Poisoning

• Epilepsy

• Asthma

• Heart Attacks

• Diabetes

• Stroke

• Fractures

• Spinal Injuries

• Sprains and Strains

• Head Injuries

• Eye Injuries

• Anaphylaxis

And many others

Time: 3 Days (18 Hours) 0930 - 1630 each day

Certificate: Valid for 3 Years (recommended annual refresher)
