Supreme Court DoLS ruling 2026: what it really means for Cheshire West, MCA and care providers
A recent Supreme Court ruling on deprivation of liberty has sparked much discussion and confusion among care providers and managers. While the ruling does change the legal understanding of deprivation of liberty, it does not mean that existing safeguards, like DoLS, should be disregarded.
